How do I buy crypto with Google Pay?
Google Pay is a secure and contactless mobile payment service by Google that allows users to make purchases in apps using their android devices and linked cards. You can now buy crypto on our platform with Google Pay instantly. Buy with Google Pay is only available for EU residents who have completed account verification.
Please note that Google Pay isn't available on devices running iOS at this time.
Access to this service is based on the phone device and model and the countries supported by Google Pay, which isn't related to the verified country of residence with us.
You must hold either a Visa or Mastercard in your legal name as registered with us. Other cards aren't supported at this time.
How do I buy crypto with Google Pay?
For the best experience, please add your card directly through the Google Wallet app. Once added, you can choose Google Pay as your payment method on our app to buy crypto with that card.
On the app
Log in to your account on OKX app, go to Buy Crypto
Select > under Select your payment method
Select your payment method section
On the method selection page, select Google Pay
Select Google Pay as your payment method
Select cryptocurrency and amount you wish to purchase and Preview your order
Preview your purchase and submit it by selecting Buy
On the web
Log in to your account here
Go to Buy Crypto and select Buy and sell
Select Buy and sell to start buying crypto on OKX
Select cryptocurrency and amount you intend to buy for
On the method selection page, select Google Pay and Preview your order

1. How do I add my card to Google Pay?
You can refer to the instructions in the official Google Pay support documentation here to add your Visa or Mastercard to Google Wallet.
2. Why am I unable to use Google Pay to purchase crypto?
Google Pay is supported on Android devices and the web. It’s available to customers who have completed account verification. If you’re using an unsupported device or haven’t verified your account, Google Pay won’t be shown as a payment option.
3. What payment methods can I use with Google Pay?
You can use Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards.
Note: card issuers may decline certain transactions at their discretion.
4. Can I withdraw funds directly to my digital wallet?
No, withdrawals to digital wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay aren't supported. You can withdraw funds to your linked bank account instead.
5. Why can't I withdraw the crypto I purchased using Google Pay?
While you're able to use Google Pay to complete a trade instantly, for your protection, there may be a withdrawal hold on your funds.
